I hold a BSC in Psychology and Health Science (University of the West of England) and an MSC in Counselling Psychology (University of East London). I have extensive additional training in EMDR, CBT and Hypnotherapy.I am an accredited member of the BABCP, the EMDR association and the general Hypnotherapy register all of whom promote the highest standard of training and professional ethics as well as ongoing professional development. I am registered with most major health insurance companies, to provide therapy.
I have experience offering CBT and EMDR and Counselling in differing settings, GP surgeries, community settings and in schools. I have worked for the last 17 years in schools providing counselling therapy to children and adolescents as well as working privately with children, adolescents and adults. I work and have worked in a range of schools, including, Sevenoaks School, Benenden Girls School, Sutton Valance, St Ronan’s and Angley.
I use a mixture of techniques, particularly cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) and EMDR in order to tailor therapy carefully to individual clients.
